I went to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for my birthday this year. Here are some pictures from my trip you can click on and zoom. Feel free to use them for your computer backgrounds, if used for websites give credit back to this page please. Thanks!
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden has many different areas including:
- Arches
- Gazebos (at least 3)
- Flower beds
- Rose gardens
- Flower fields
- Bridges (At least 3)
- Fountains
- Open Fields
- Water play areas
- Children’s garden
- Poetry Garden
- At least 3 restaurants (yummy big Bavarian pretzels!)
- A gift shop with seeds you can plant yourself!
- A view of White Rock Creek
- A view of the Dallas skyline!
It is rather big and good exercise, I would say as big as the zoo so bring water and a snack. It would be an ideal place to get some exercise while listening to music. You can get a subscription if you live nearby and go all year round, or one Adult ticket was $16. They do have specials, I think one was in October last year, where admission was very cheap.
