Nope. Yep, you heard that right. No. Why? The reason is because that animal is not going to fill the void or make you feel less lonely enough to resolve the real problem. lonely pet, lonely pet
When I do my psychic medium readings often times I will hear ladies make common jokes that if they don’t meet “him” by the age of 40,50, or 60 that they’ll get 5 cats. I tell them that the animal will not be able to fill their emptiness, instead what can happen is you’ll feel worse because when you look at that cat you’ll realize it was not really what you wanted, not to mention common memes out in social media to make you feel pathetic. You can also fall into resentment when you have to care for the animal and realize while you are scooping their litter or trying to give them pills that this is not the life you were wanting after all. The animal, or even 5 of them, will not fill the emptiness you feel. My clients usually agree after I remind them of this.
What are some solutions instead?
- Ask God for the love you need to not feel lonely feel loved every morning.
“God, please send my the best and highest love from you to me so I don’t feel lonely and I feel loved, whole and complete, Please and thank you.”
- Ask God for an unconditional love download.
“God, please send me your unconditional love. Please and thank you.” Wait and feel the healing and love coming through until you feel it is complete.
- Meditate concentrating on the heart chakra (including the chakras along your back) and balancing it with other charkas (I have gorgeous full chakra sets with black tourmaline here: www.ebay.com/usr/all1059)
- Think about someone who makes you happy – That can be an imaginary friend, lover or someone else but make sure they make you smile. If you don’t have someone like this, ask God to send you someone, you’ll be glad you did.
- Reach out to an old friend – It can be someone you haven’t spoken to in a while but someone who you are currently on good terms with. Many of us have those friends we’ve had for years or decades but only talk to once a quarter or once a year and pick up like there was no time between contacts.
- Join a meetup group – Meetup.com has great groups of all kinds whether your interest is board games, cards, hiking, bowling, beaches, movies, or food they probably have a group suited to your needs. Get out there and meet new people!
