You can take the train to the Dallas Reunion Tower or park nearby. It is attached to the Hyatt hotel, which is a beautiful place to shop, eat, or just wander. The Reunion Tower offers the best views I’ve seen of downtown Dallas and surrounding areas, including 2 bridges. A ticket can be purchased from inside the Hyatt for $20 and from there you take the elevator up. There is an underground tunnel from the train station to the Hyatt but you would have to wait for someone to open the hotel door for you as it is key card protected.
