I haven’t been to the Texas State Fair since I was very little, and thought it was time to give it a visit this year.

The Dart Train stops right at the entrance and is a cheap way to get to the fair without worrying about traffic and parking.

The fair is huge! Bring tennis shoes and expect a ton of walking.

They have a car show, dinosaurs, an aquarium that is open, games with prizes, as well as a lot of burgers, corny dogs, pretzels, cajun, tacos, beer, fried foods, fries, onion rings and more to eat.

There are several rides, many of which go in circles, for those who dare.
